Biggest Baddest Stinger
 

Hey, I have been working on this project for 2 yrs and have all completed execpt the chrome wheels for the trailer. This is a 1990 Euro Stringer by Ep. This boat has 850hp merlin 540 cu in engines with 871 blowers and demon 850 blower carbs. New xr drives with 32 pitch 4 blades.It has air and 18 speaker system. The carbon fiber int was custom designed along with the 5 bloster style seating. I have personal customized everything on the boat including dash, hy steering, new headers mufflers,wing, custom top.The carpet has carbon fiber trim. This has been a great project hand has been very rewarding. Even tricked out my golfcart to match. Carbon fiber rules..Looking forward to many years of fun for my family and friends.ps I have only made a couple of really hard passes and it ran 96 to 98 at 5800rpm in a flash before it stucked the cards dry. Had to add a second supply for fuel to the carbs....I want 100 mph just in case....

Did you do away with the transmissions? How much does it weigh? with all the mods??. I am looking at going with similier HP but with Konrads and B/W Trans. Sharp looking boat!! Who built the motors?

hey red man, the boat weights 10287 pounds with fuel, 8607 dry. Gean Fulton build the motors,540 cui with 690 lift cams, merlin heads with the correct valves,merlin blocks, dagron slayer cranks, je pistons, 8.5 pounds of comp and I run around 8-10 pounds of boost. They have a racing cradles with soild motor mounts and custom wiring. The motors have several custom backets that allow everthing to be mount to the motor. oil coolers and filters are attached as 1 unit. Unplug 1 10 pin electrial connection and 1 water house , disc 1 fuel line, and remove the starter lead that is connect at the transon. I made these as easy as possible to remove for maintance.Gene Fulton build pro mod motors for the national curcuit. They could make a lot more pwr with race gas,,

i have to say that your boat is bad ass!!!! i have a 26 stinger and i did alot of work but nothing like yours/ that boat here in miami florida would be a problem trying to keep the chicks away in south beach
but serious i give you a 10 plus

in my stinger i have the swim platform that cover the ehxaust tips,in other words the platform sits on top.does that makes the exhaust louder? it seems to me that the way is set it makes a pocket and it keeps the noise in the back are of the boat, some one please give me some ideas

Gene builds a lot more than pro mod motors. He is THE KING when it comes to big cube nitrous motors. Several cars along the east coast and south are running his 870 monsters in their Outlaw 10.5 cars. Upwards of 3000hp on 4 nitrous systems. He knows his chit and builds a great product.

My buddy had a 1988 375 Stinger. It was a real cool boat, lots of headroom, big enclosed head with shower, hot water, stove, etc. his only had 365HP engines, and did 55-60, but its cool to see they will run with some big power. His started coming apart after abusing it on Lake Michigan in big waves. Mostly the cabin stuff like cabinets and what not were falling apart. Didnt they have foam stringers in the late 80's stingers?

yes, the whole boat is form cored. it was one of the first amempts at vac baging according to cc racing site. it is large. rides great .

Great looking boat. Have you done any testing yet for actual numbers? My 39 Scorpion only does in the low 70's with 630HP 540's per side through Huber's and TRS's.

yes, it ran in the mid 90s with 32 pitch turning 5800 rpm, it sucked the fuel psi down so i had to add second supply and up the psi. i am thinking about 34 p props for this yr.

I totally love your boat. Im a big fan of the 375/385's as there aren't that many out there and the lines imho are timeless. What did you mean when you referred to it as a 1990 Euro Stringer by Ep.? I thought that they were 375's in 1988, and 385's in 1989 and then discontinued.

How fast is that thing with 850s??? My buddy had a 375 with a pair of 454 mags. What a cool boat.
