Ok Ok, so she has been here for about 2 hours and I still cant get over how F*CKING BIG the boat is.....this thing is a MOFO monster!!!
It REALLY needs a good buffing and I have worked on the front port side for like an hour and made a HUGE difference, but covered very little area....man what a job!!
The boat cant go to the water today, needs a shift cable installed, one fuel pump and a set of batteries....I have everything but the shift cable....anyways...here some pics to enjoy for now...

Congrats!-
I had a 1985 Chris Cat for years and sold it to Andy (search Greencard) a couple of years ago. Great boats, good in rough water and fast for their day.
Take your time learning how to trim, turn the boat and remember: when you're running fast and you need to chop the throttle, give yourself time to let the boat unpack air. You might be surprised how long the boat can "coast" after cutting the throttle!
If you don't have cat experience taking a class from Tres might be a good idea.

Sounds like you got a great deal! I was wondering when someone was going to scoop that one up. She should run in the 90's with that power, I picked up my 1st cat last season (31 Awesome) & she ran 80 with a pair of 454's - It got pretty boring to drive by the end of the season. After redoing the interior, & exterior, I'm now in the process of building a pair of 540's 650ish hp - need to get into the triple digits,
good luck with it, let us know how she runs.. you will love the ride in the chop - here's a pick of mine

Thanks for all the compliments you all....I'm really happy to be amungst you all as a fellow Chris Cat/AO/Awsome/Vicious cat owner.....I really like the boat...
No big plans as for now, the last 2 days have been cleaning the poor girl up.....havent even fired it up yet.
The boat was not stored inside by it's last owner, and now she wont ever be outside unless it's at the lake. I have enough room keep her in a climate controlled warehouse...so before she gets too comfortable a good bath was in order.
The port drive needs a shift cable installed into the drive, I have to install a new fuel pump on the starboard motor and put in 2 new batteries and she is set to go out this weekend..
Today the sign shop people were there taking off the 30' of Thunder and laying new stripes on the deck....still thinking of a good name to give her....any idea's, they are appreciated...
