Default Ready to start my Stinger 260 project

Wanted to stop in and say hi and talk a little about my project. I bought my stinger 260 about 6 years ago and it's been stored up in Maryland ever since. I'm going to bring it down to SC and start the restoration. Both engines where rebuilt right before I bought it. They where fogged for storage and I hope all is fine with them. I'll go over the alpha's with new pumps, seals and boots. I bought this boat because of the lines and how well in handled rough water. The boat was painted also before I bought it, but the colors aren't my favorite. It's blue and gold on white, but the design is not the best. I'd like to paint it all white and just do some graphics on it. Here's a few pics of her. Any ideas on a way to salvage the present paint job without repainting the entire boat would be welcome.

Thanks
Rick

Hey nice colors on the stinger. I think it looks good as is. I have an 84 stinger repainted all white still stuck on what kind of graphics to go with. Its been in restoration for about 6 years now. Good luck with your project!

LOVE THAT RADAR ARCH!!!

Is it off the boat in the second picture or is it just the angle doesn't show it?

I have a 260 as well and the arch would look great on mine, if you want to get rid of it???

by the way....I noticed you have stainless props on it. If you get it wet let me know what rpm your turning and what speeds your getting.
I need to know the pitch your using as I have been playing around with everything from a 19 to a 23.

Let me know what works for you.

tnx...
