Guys I've run across what I believe to be a CC 312. All red in color, twin 454's. Bravo 1's. Mirage 23P stainless props. Boat has sat on blocks for 2yrs. Motor's are winterized but no idea if they run. Boat has NO PAPERS. asking price: 4800. I would bet it could be had for 3500. Tell me what I need to know and thoughts/advice. Pics in link

If you can afford the worst case senario, then go for it! I would figure $2-3k per engine and outdrive for a real close inspection and go thru. If you dont end up spending that much you can have the seats redone, and maybe a set of used Livorsi guages.
Better to figure High and come in under budget it keeps the wife happy.

new papers may be hard to find and then the hull numbers wouldn't match when and if something happened (ie: stolen) how would you prove it was yours it would have diffrent numbers than the title? My boat had issues and the NC Wildlife resources commision came to the rescue. Who in your state is in charge of licensing and registration? If the boat was ran 2 years ago was it registered 2 years ago?
Did the owner lose the title? In most states you can apply for a lost title. Better to ask questions now and settle all issues now. Try everything something will work but spend the time and money (lawyer) if nessesary, You are not the first with this problem and there most likely is a solution.

I decided to walk away. Insurance repo from florida, aka title disaster, and the NYS dmv is notorious for being horrible... If someone wants good bravo's and 454's I'll be the middle man
