Is there any way I can edit the title of this thread to compensate for my fat fingered misspelling?

How is the progress coming along on your scorpion restore? These boats are so big for a 26 ft boat.... If you measure the wetted surface of the boat is 26 ft but if you measure from the stern to the bow she's around 30ft I absolutely love the room in the engine bay to work. Much better then a lot of other "performance" boats out there

It took me 9 months to get her home and she was so NASTY! I have not had a lot of time to work on her, but I have gotten the outside cleaned up and the Cuddy is mostly cleaned. The Cockpit is next.

I have removed two of the windows and most likely will Replace all four. John at Chrisparts.com is pretty helpful for some of the parts I need.

I need to put up some new pics.

Yes she is a big boat. I know they are supposed to be 26'4, but they do seam much larger...esp when they are behind your truck on the interstate! I have been wanting to measure and see how long she actually is. I know the trailer to swim platform is abbot 33'-3"

I am still looking for an emblem like this one for the PORT side...sadly mine is gone

Looking good! keep your eye on ebay. From time to time chris craft name plates pop up on there. If I had one I could part with I'd ship it out to you... next time I get over to the wreckers i'll see if there's anything left on the old chris'
Nice you have a place indoors to work on it. I did my transom and stringers in my driveway under a tarp. Would have killed to had indoor space!
