Default The NEW Chris Cat

I'm getting ready to build the hull mold finally. Next I'll infuse a hull. For those of you who don't know I took a 1985 Chris Cat and cut it half to widen it to 9' 6" with a 60 inch tunnel. I also extend it a foot to move the engines back. I'll be running the 400R with speeds in the 120mph range. The boat will be totally infused. The hull will be infused with the stringers and bulkheads in place so not to have any secondary bonding. The hull and deck will be fully cored. The glass will be a hybrid Kevlar/Carbon/E glass combination in the hull. This will increase the strength considerably and decrease weight.

The original boats had a cabin as will this one. It will have a queen bed, marine head with sink and a shower in the cockpit. 24 volt Air conditioning can easily be added for additional comfort. You can be comfortable spending the night if you want. The deck arrangement will be similar to other cats but will also be available with L seating at the back of the boat. The cockpit interior will be done by Miami Prestige Interiors and can be done custom.

If you want to see how the boats ran go to You Tube and search Chris Cat American Express. Its pretty impressive video. These boats won every division the ever raised in. Pricing will be for the average guy. With some great deals on the first ones.
