Can't quite see from the lighting in the pics, but your interior looks exactly like mine. Does the vinyl have a pearlesent sheen? Mine has the pearl finish on both the cockpit and cabin vinyl. Re-did the bolsters and crash pads last year and had a hard time finding a close match.

Sweet looking ride! One of my favorite Bullets!

It does have a pearl sheen to it. For a long time I thought the vinyl was just a dull grey color. When I got it under the fluorescent lighting in my shop I could see the pearl. Cockpit is the same vinyl but it's getting replaced with white this go around. Cabin is getting left alone.

That boat belonged to a buddy of mine. He owned it for a short time. Real cool boat. I drove it on lake Michigan a few times in some choppy water. Good ride for a 31. At that time, it had some 600HP 509's. I think I may have the dyno sheet somewhere from it. I remember turning 26p bravo 4 blades to around 5500RPM. Didn't have a GPS, but the liquid filled speedo showed upper 70's, maybe 80ish. Boat had new Bravo X drives, HD gimbles, etc. The interior was in good condition, worn a little, but good shape. The cabin was like new. He had a new cockpit cover, cockpit carpet, and a bimini made for it. My buddy only sold it because he was moving to Arizona, and the boat wasn't in the cards for his change of life. He sold it to a guy from the Grand Lake area. I had heard the guy hurt at least one engine, overheated it or something. I remember the boat having one Gen 6 block, and one gen v I think. I also believe it had merlin iron heads on it.

Good luck with it Buck..

That's great info. Thank you for taking the time to reply. Everything you said is consistent with what we've seen in her. Drives, motors, interior, all exactly as you described. It's apparent that someone has put some serious coin into this thing at some point in time. Unfortunately the previous owner neglected the cockpit interior quite a bit, therefore the redo on that.

Motors are out to give them a good once over. Carter believes a head gasket was the culprit on the port motor where the overheating took place. While out we plan to double check everything and do a valve job on them. We are hoping with some TLC and a little dyno time we will be good.

We acquired one dyno sheet with the boat that shows the numbers you are quoting. If you still have the other one we would love to see an image of it. A build sheet or list of parts used would be even better. Feel free to respond by PM if you have any further info.

Thanks again!!!!

Hey Joe, I was supposed to fly in to go see that bullet @ grandsport the day after your buddy put a deposit on it and sale pending sea trial. The salesman(can"t remember his name said I should still fly out. I figured why bother and cancelled my flight)I spent like 2 hrs. on the phone with the owner (John i think) from orange beach. Really loved the paint job. Hey Buck, you're in good hands, Dustin has done a few bullets before.

One way to make the winter go fast is to redo a boat. In the beginning it seems like you have a long time to get everything done, but the timeline always closes in quicker than expected. I can't wait to see the finished project. I'm assuming Vincent will be doing the paint touchups, but who are you having do the interior?
