Outboards on bullet

I agree, outboards on a cigarette would be almost a sin. I have converted a few 28's to outboards and you would be surprised on how well it worked. I tried to post a response but it didn't take so I will try again. First thanks for the spelling correction being from ny we spell like it sounds, bad. The "approx 2000 pounds" I may never get to but the engines, drives, hatch and assembly, gimbles, strainers, trim motors etc. (except for engines are for sale), back seat will come close. The boat had too little cockpit space with no room for the amount of family and friends that I boat with not to mention coolers and dive stuff. Opening up the engine area will give me plenty more room plus storage on both sides in the engine area. My 33' with two 225 optimax did close to 55mph this should be in the 60's. That's fast enough for me. Resale will be another issue not many would think about outboards on this boat but I had no problem selling the other ones. South Florida has an outboard mentality. On the other hand this will be my last boat because of my age so I am not going to worry about it as I paid less then the price of the trailer for it. They don't seem to hold their value. If I can't sell it I will strip it, chain saw the boat and sell the parts. I when complete with new engines still have less then what they are going for Invested, so I will enjoy I will miss the roar of the engines, but, not the maintenance, bellows, fan belt problems half way to the Bahamas, rust, risers, get the idea what salt water does. I completely understand everyone's thoughts and welcome them but when you see the completed projected you may understand why, keep the comments coming. I will post pictures as soon as I learn how.

I don't think your going to be in the 60''s with a pair of 225's. These are very heavy, slow hulls.

Ok will send them tomorrow thanks

No 225's won't do it, the first post said 300's

I thought I recognized that boat, it's the one that Pier 57 had for a while. They pulled sold it without power.
