Hey guys, just picked up a bullit, 1988. Could some one email me a copy of an owners manual also I am at [email protected]. I would appreciate it as cigarette was not helpful. I am in miami any one down here? I am about to do a total refit, in and out one step at a time. Started striping her down this week. Owned 28', 33' and 35 and dieing to see how this will handle when done. Right now all options are on the table. Thanks will post pictures when I get to a point.

I e-mailed you the manual and wiring diagram, hope they help.

Thanks for info

Thanks, it was most helpful. As I said I still can't believe it weighs 9500 pounds. That is more then the 35 mistress. The wire diagram cleared up a few things. Funny how one request on the forum gave me all the info needed when even cigarette or the dealers I asked couldn't do. Again thanks.

Has anyone ever ran 2 inch shorties on a Bullet with standard Bravo setup?

Well I guess I will hear a bunch of crazy remarks but I decided to convert the bullit to outboards. I am going to take out the gimbles close in the transom, put a bracket on the back, take out the seat and move it back to the transom, fill in the engine area with deck and side storage and try to find a pair of 300 outboards. It will take out approx 2000 pounds and give me decent speed. Ok, give me the comments.

You might be better off selling the Bullet and buying and buying something else. I would think you would have a hard time selling that at a later date? Just my 2 cents.

If you decide to go through with it Good Luck with the project Can you post up some pic's would like to see what your working with

"Bullet" would be the correct spelling.

On the other part.....mom always said if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it. :)

I would agree it's not a great idea. I would be quite surprised if there's a 2,000 lb weight difference, and even if there were, the boat would still be a pig with OB's. As mentioned, you'd have to give away an OB Bullet should you decide to sell it. I'd sell the boat as is and buy an OB boat if that's the direction you want to go.
