Default Turbos in a Bullet?

Hi,
My 1990 Bullet apparantly had turbocharged engines originally installed from what the past owner indicated and also the boost guages are still mounted in the dash.
I was wondering if anyone knows about this set-up, was this a special order/aftermarket how well it worked, what the story is and how many cigarettes had turbo charged engines originally installed from the factory. I think I read somewhere that Aero Marine may have helped in providing powerplants to Cigarette???
Thanks

Maybe it just had blower motors (not turbos)?

CB will know the answer.

are you sure it came from the factory, or were the gages added later due to aftermarket engine modification. i no that hawk did a lot of engines for cigarette as well as my boat, they had the 525sc as well as other various blown engines available for cigarette at the time. ill check my 1990 cigarette price and options list

375Stinger,

Great stuff, any more info would be wonderfull and appreciated.

The 90' Bulletn Bravo I have must have had superchargers originally(also suggested by HiPerf2000, thanks); the guage, wiring and assys all looks original behind the dash- old but still virgin back there

Additionally, it does have the Platinium markings throughout the boat.

Guys, this is great, please post what you can, I am trying to piece together the blood lines of my new vessel.

With all your help, I just may have a case with the wife to supercharge the motors to keep it semi-original

Thanks and keep the info coming,
Wyatt

BajaBoat,
I am sure your ride is fun.
Very nice...are those 420 size blowers?
Clean set up, what speeds are you running?

Look more like 10-12/71's.

I guess your boat is too new to have been throught the Gale Banks days of turbo boats. I have an 80's powerboat mag and turbos are everywhere.
