Sorry but the original owner of that boat lives here and boats on Grand Lake. That boat struggled to see 65mph when it was his. He now has a 46 Rough Rider.

Corey,

I know the current owner of this boat. I have ran beside him in a friends 311 at 73 m.p.h. It is a very clean and well-maintained boat. I not sure why he is selling it, but will ask him about it when I see him next.

I have the same set up, and run 73, would fresh water make that much of a difference?

As for boxes, I hear on tigers they cut down on the driveability/handleing. for 10-12k you may notice little or no advantage from them.

This rig belongs to a very good friend of mine. It sees low 70's. Not to argue with you Brandon I just know what it does now. We run together often and my GPS will always read 70 - 72 when we run them out.

As for the trailer not having a bow stop. He will tie strap it forward and down to keep it secure. This eliminate any chance of rub marks on the hull from the stop. I have since moved my stop forward and just use the winch.

The trailer manufacturer will sell the bow stop complete for about $ 150.00.

.
It could be that it had a liquid speedo at the time, which could have been faulty, or just driver error.

I remember standing on the dock listening to him complain and complain about how slow it was. The dealer at the time went for a ride and said 65 was the best it got. He went out the next week and ordered a brand new Rough Rider with triple 750 Cobra's.

He barely ever drove the Tiger, same with the RR.

It's so disappointing to see his boats sit on the lift week after week. He's had a bunch of Cigarettes and none of them had hardly any hours on them. The RR is for sale. Not sure what he'll get next, if anything.
