What is the right price on a '01 or '02 Top Gun with 575's? What's a good buy and when would you be stealing it? I'm thinking $200k or less as a starting point?

less than $200K? Good luck.

For an '02, about $220K for below avg cond and up to $250K for well maintained and great shape.

For 200k you are talking 01,and probably just an average boat at best, if you could find one that cheap.

Harry, try to talk to the owner of this boat. I know him well and he is motivated so he can order a new boat. Perfect condition, and a stereo run by a tiny nuclear reactor.

And it's an '03 !!

Prices baffle me, a 00 non-step people say are worth $100K and a 01 TS worth 200K in average condition?

I would say that you should be able to pick one up for somewhere between $200-220k, through private sale. Dealers and brokers will have a 15-20% margin so the private deal will rule. I also dont see 575's as being an add worth that much more.... 525's are making as much power.

A 2000 is worth alot more than 100K. A 01T/S with 500 efi,s is 185-210 ish depeding upon the boat.

Keep in mind. The 575's need a rebuild around 280, 300 Hours. an 01 should have that much if not more. You might buy it cheaper but it will cost you in the end.

Not sure if you are aware of it, but there is a big difference between an '01 and an '02 Top Gun. Different bottom.

I have a 2002 T/G with 575's with around 125 hrs (I would have to go look for exact hrs). Extended covergirl cabin, ITS etc... all the goodies. I run it only in fresh water and is like new in all aspects (as anyone who has seen would agree). With a new Myco Aluminum trailer under it. I would sell the package for around $225k.
