I "believe" it was a dammed mistress/cafe bottom. But not 100% sure.

by my opinion every original bullet has a noched ass...on the pics i canīt see this noch....otherwise the bottom-lines on the bow is bullet style not cafe

1988 and 89 bullets were not noched. 1990 to 1992 were notched.

So the cafe's chine walk too at 80+? My only experience in a cig is in an 86 flatdeck at 80+ and that feels incredibly stable, boring almost. In calm water at least, 3'+ it unbeatable:drink:

Edit: keep in mind any ride in my boat above 75 in any water gets teh heart rate WAY up so maybe I'm not a good judge of thrilling.

I've never heard of Cafe's chine walking at all. For that matter, I've never heard of any Bullets chine walking except this one. But remember, this thing really isn't a Bullet technically. Only "bullet" staggard set up, only "Bullet" flat deck, only "bullet" that had light lay-up and no cabin.

omerta one 10-31-2009 08:59 AM

I haven't seen it around here (LOTO).

I hadn't either thats why I was surprised with the talk of chine walking and the whole dammed cafe/mistress comment. I thought the old cigarette hulls where pretty good.

Why exactly did they do this project? Just because a flatdeck deck was easier to make lighter? I always thought the lines on the bullets where pretty sharp. Wouldn't mind owning one some day if the cards are right.

It has a Bullet bottom for sure bro, not a Cafe. :ernaehrung004:

PS: The Non-Notched Cafe's don't porpoise, and NONE of them chine walk.

Oh I know it's a bullet hull. The question I thought was where did the bullet hull come from (originally). A brand new bottom or a dammed cafe/mistress? I thought I read some where the bullet started as a dammed cafe/mistress.

Contact Brownie. He was integral in the Bullet's development.

For some reason I think the Decathalon, or one of the old center console hulls, is what became the Bullet. I can't remember what Craig B had explained to me years ago. :readinghelp:

thisistank 11-21-2009 08:29 PM

Ok, f*ckin' seriously!!! No one has seen this thing in years and has no clue where it is?? WTF!? If my boat sells I'm thinking I want to buy this thing in the next year or so. Someone help me out.

thisistank 08-03-2010 03:01 AM

Just checking in and throwing my annual request out there...anyone seen this thing lately? Any pics? Anyone know where it is?

At the Aqua Toy Store correct? Heard it was in LOTO but no one's seen it.

How's things Steve?

thisistank 07-11-2012 07:48 PM

A year later...still MIA.

Anyone seen it around lately or know who owns it?

black thunder 46 07-11-2012 10:35 PM

If the boat is at loto it would be almost impossible to track down. Did you ever try to call aqua toy store to see where they sold it to or to who??
Brett

Didn't know they were still in business. Plus, I don't think they'll give out a buyers info.

I am at LOTO...haven't seen it. I had an interest in this boat too. Called after it was already sold. I thought the guy told me it went to NY. Not sure where though.

rynobranch 09-17-2012 01:00 AM

Just saw a pic of a flat deck bullet on page 31 of jays supercat fest 2012 photos? That could be it! Maybe?

Unlimited jd 10-28-2014 01:53 PM

Yes, hahns refreshed the power last winter and he ran it quite a few times this past summer. Didn't make any of the local runs though.

thisistank 10-28-2014 03:30 PM

Get some pics if you get a chance.

Unlimited jd 10-28-2014 03:50 PM
