Does anyone know if they're still selling....
....that 30 foot bullet with the custom deck (looks like a mini gun). Had staggared 650's in it w/a six pack interior. It was an old race boat. Lake Cumberland had it listed for a while then it went to someone else. Just wondering if someone bought it. I might know someone that's interested.

Re: Does anyone know if they're still selling....
Yeah - some guy in Oxnard bought it .
Last i remember he is waiting for proper alignment of the moon and stars to take it out..until then he'll bum rides off his buddy's Tiger... Oh sorry - thats the Tank story i'll never let go of.. i'm laughing too hard to finish. BTW- The boat in question is bad azz, so where did it end up ? Dave |
Re: Does anyone know if they're still selling....
Dave, quit lurking on this forum....YOU DON"T OWN A CIGARETTE ANYMORE!!! Trader!
Admit to the public that you truely desire another Cigarette and then you can hang in here :evilb: Now, the flat decked Bullet was for sale for a LOOOOONG time and I don't think it ever sold. I thought maybe National Marine was selling it too so who knows where it's at right now  |
Re: Does anyone know if they're still selling....
Aqua Toy Store had it the last I saw. I would talk to CB about it. I asked him alot of questions and it doesn't sound very desirable. A few people looked at it as well and weren't very impressed.

Re: Does anyone know if they're still selling....
The purple and yellow Bullet at Aqua Toy Store with n/a 750's, Bravos on boxes, and a yellow 3-man cockpit did pique my interest. I even checked the boat out when I went to Florida for the Worlds. The salesman said that he had it ip to 92MPH in the ditch. Brandon kinda told me the "ways of the world" handling charictaristics of the beast. My attention soon faded.

Re: Does anyone know if they're still selling....
Yea, Glenn Martin told me the boat was road hard and put away wet. Is it a wild ride or what?
TSG, what were the problems noted? It shows nice in pics but you know how that goes  |

Re: Does anyone know if they're still selling....
Hey Dave, I've heard that story too...
He has his boat all cleaned up and the bum isn't even gonna be at the poker run...something about work.. Is your boat ready to go... |
Re: Does anyone know if they're still selling....

Re: Does anyone know if they're still selling....
It is a Bullet hull with a different deck. The deck was made from plywood.

As far as I know everything was done by Cigarette. The hull was made from the Bullet and everything else was custom. |

If I recall, I don't think it was ever actually raced. If you really want the best info on it, contact Craig Barrie. He built it and told me the whole story a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I can't remember all of it. |
Re: Does anyone know if they're still selling....
The boat sold 2 months ago through Aqua Toy Store.
Dave, don't talk down to your father! Oh, and I don't own a Baja anymore. I bought a REAL boat unlike the one you own  :evilb: |
Re: Does anyone know if they're still selling....
[QUOTE=thisistank]THere it is...You have the rest of the pics of it? The interior was bad azz! So was the engine compartment.
I looked, can't find at this time-will search in other areas :drink: |

ok, anyone that wants to know the history of this boat, here it goes! its a 93 Bullet with a flat-deck, Craig had it built for my father and his cousin for 30k, the deal was that they'd have to rig it themselves, but that the factory was all theirs after work hours, so my father and the navigator staggered 2 Hawk-Marine 510 engines in there, mounted bravo 2 drives, and had the same paint scheme it has now done for $500 (tho in the original colors which were purple with green pin-striping and the checkard flag going across the deck and down the sides), they raced it in B class as B-124 and were known as Team Cigarette, they raced it from 1994 until the death of one of their best friends in 1996.....at that point it wen't to puerto rico, raced there as the coca-cola boat, then came back to the states at some point. and now i'm here searching for the fate of this boat....it had the 3-man standing cockpit and the original interior was a light purple (to go along with the paint)
this is a picture i found in this thread with our colors on her |
From what I know the boat sold about a year ago after sitting for a long time for sale. Think it sold for upper 60's. And I do believe it may be somewhere in LOTO. Someone must know who exactly has it now. It's a sweet ride! I've always liked it and toyed with buying it before we bought our boat. When I started this thread a friend of mine was thinking about buying it to keep on a hoist due to size limitations.
Didn't Tres or Glenn Martin have something to do with it at some point? Racing wise that is. |
im not sure if they had anything to do with that boat or not, i could look into it i suppose?

From what I've heard it chine walked REAL bad around 80 but could be driven through with some skill. Don't know if it was ALL bullets or just this special constructed one, being as it was light, staggard set up, etc.
I would STILL like to know where it is and who has it!! |
