The acceleration with the turbos should be incredible. However, it's very difficult to get the carbs right across the entire RPM band. Try to get some history on the engines and watch for upper RPM lean conditions=blown motors. Blowers are much easier to manage.

My bubby bought the boat 5-6 years ago, spent a nice chunk restoring the hull. I needs rerigged. Neither of us were ever out on it prior to him buying it. The previous owner said it ran high 70's. The engines are old 400 cu.in. chevy's with 350 heads, that all I know. The #6 Arbesons have rolla props. Thats all I really know.

seems a bit much considering it needs a rerig. and no trailer you'll end up with a 60k 28 foot cig try to sell that one day...ain't gonna happen high teens would be more like it

The price seems a touch too high for me. I like the twin turbo engines, though. If I bought the boat, the engines would come out. I would install fuel injection because its easy to find for a small block. While the engines are out, I'd re-rig it. I found an 86 28ss in December for $10K and my best friend bought it. T-454/TRS ready for water and needing interior and possible re-rig. On trailer. I hope this gives you some perspective.
