A friend just turned me on to this thread. I have a 98 Kevlar Gun, half cabin, original Bravo with Hawk 600's. There was a poster of my boat at the old Cigarette on 188th with Craig and a girl catching air.
Last winter I put 572's, aprox 850-900hp in it. I put XR uppers with Imco 2" shorter lowers on it. I am running lab Bravo 30's, turning 5400- 5600 rpm depending on temp/humidity.
I was turning the props in with the lower power but after standing on end I am turning out again and really think it runs and handles better.
At the LOTO shootout it ran 90mph on their GPS. The water was flat, and it was hot and humid.
In rough water it runs around 94.
I would be interested in sharing info to get it closer to a 100, don't want to resort to a stepped boat yet!
