You talk of parasitic drag from the transmission. I run a Huber transmission and was concerned about the same thing. So two years ago I called Huber. .....He says testing has shown only 8-12 hp loss though his transmissions! Not enouph to worry about. The drive is the real power killer..................

Prob not the fastest ...maybe lowest hours.. have no idea of particulars other than it was/still is a tender on the 151ft Highlander - Forbes Yacht out of NYC. Donzi Minx on the left?
