auction ended w no bids.
You can still attemp to contact the owner through the link on the auction.
$8500 does not seem unreasonable for that boat, but who knows how grandiose the owner's plan was and where the reserve was set. reserve won't show until the first bid is placed.
having a no bid auction may serve to temper those ambitions w a dose of reality.
Ernie, What did you sell it to the guy for?

good luck

Tough to say, did some horse trading for current owners (and previously tiz bad's) old 38 Scarab. Which may be GlassDave's if he ever sells something so he can buy it.
I had some....insurance issues.......but that's another story.
Cig is solid, dry and gone through. 8500 would be a very good price IMHO .
Fresh paint, no spyders, freshened (top end and all hoses/rigging) Mag motor, silent choice, external hydralic steering........well, I could go on, but I'm not getting any commision, so I'll leave Tizbad do his magic .
Maybe he'll put some details and better pictures up on OSO?

Sorry guys the boat sold local so I had to end the sale. Ernie is correct in saying the boat is solid. I have done some rigging on it and Ernie took very good care of this boat. Greg/Kustom Marine

It did come from Long Island.
Same you didn't take better care of it while you had it.
Spent the first year rerigging it after every thing fell apart in the engine compartment. But that's the learning curve about buying used salt water boats I guess.
It's condition is a whole lot better today.

now i remember that boat...it was owned by a guy named Paul...

There was another 20 that was kicking around for a while...it came to Hampton Bays from Sayville to get painted and then disappeared...anyone know what happened to it?

it was white and had TRS and was completely trashed...no windscreen, motor was a pile of rust...

it had the "cooler" in front of the windscreen...an option that really appeals to me

i'd like to find that boat...i wanted to buy it at the time of it's disappearance and the painter had no info on the guy.

im not sure if that is a quesiton or not...

i was told the trs boat was originally from the sayville or maybe seaford area...it went to mike long in hampton bays for paint and then disappeared...literally dragged away because the one of the wheels of the trailer was locked with a chain. the owner supposedly owed money for storage...not sure...don't care...

while it sat i was waiting for my opportunity to talk to the owner to see if he wanted to sell it...and never did get to meet him...and then the boat disppeared...so i was wondering if anyone has seen it or knows where it went or knows the owner...
