So you're going to re-glass the transom, completely re-rig the engine room, move the back seat and corresponding battery switches forward, causing you to need new interior side panels and possibly reposition the bolsters? Keep us posted!

I've got a better idea... just put in some lead upfront, or maybe some extension boxes.
But changing to a stagger is too much imo.

Wow, that is a big project! I'd try some prop work, if you already haven't. Finding a stern-lifting prop with the right size, pitch and cup would be a nice start. I'm sure Tres or Philly could give you some insight as to where to start.

Either one of these guys should be able to solve your problem... and correctly too.

I was told boxes arent that great on the straigh tigers, you may also want to talk to Craig Barrie cbdragon here on the board, he designed them and would be able to give quality advice as well as the two others mentioned...Rob

i could be wrong, but dont you stagger engines for the ability to fit a larger engine in the compartment, which would have increased HP, not for the factor of weight dist.?
