blumes will sell shortly... he has gotten the word out in its a fine piece...
im refering to people thinking that the days of 5% depreciation per year on cigs is still alive and well.... its not
525s were 200-225k new(some early ones were 190k)
five years later they r not 150k boats... and the examples i gave r the market in the last six months... now what r they today? mint or not

2003 525 Gladiator w/525's (92mph) $111,000.00 and we don't know if it sold that cheap, plus a used Myco at $10,000.00: your total cost is like $121,000.00...........Am I right so far? Now a nice low hour 2 owner freshwater 2005 36' Gladiator w/super sweet 750HP Sterling's (108mph) and a Myco trailer for $135,000.00, take 5% depreciation a year. 1st year value $128,250.00 and the second year is $121,837.50...........thats with-in $837.50??? Help me here if my math is wrong?? But this Gladiator is a SUPER GOOD VALUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even dreamer thinks the 2003 is cheap, so that makes the one I have, "Merry Christmas"

Your math looks good! We know your boat is a bargain. If you consider the trailer, your boat is being sold for $125K!But, what I don't understand, is that if Dreamer had a survey on the 03 Glad, and he really liked that boat alot, how did he lose it at $111K?? Why not pay a little more, and come home with the boat?

personally i think its a steal, the difference in paint and interior alone is worth the difference in price
and i also think that if you (blume) had it listed for 125k then they would be saying it was only worth 115k and thats all they would pay
great boat, great price, wish i needed one, that would be it

I say if you really want to sell it now then put it up for auction and let it be known to everybody. That will tell you what the boat is worth. You may not like the outcome but atleast the boat will be gone and everyone can quit arguing about what the boat is worth. If the owner is not in a bad financial position and you really believe in your statement that the market will firm up after the holidays, then why not sit on it for another 3-4 months. Anyways, Good luck with the sale. I know i had hell finding a buyer.
