Those speakers look like 10" Babbs to me, but it's kind of blurry.

Randy, personal opinion from someone who has had a fare share of LARGE systems....Babbs suck. There's alot better speakers out there.

Don't lock yourself into thinking you need to run a marine system. You can put car audio components in with out worry.

It's all personal taste but I really like JL Audio, Eclips titanium series and Kicker for subs. I like MB Quart, Eclipse, Boston, Clarion for mids/tweeter. I like Percission Power and Orion for amps. Head units are pretty much the same thing, just pick the one that fits your needs (i.e. MP3 connect, Sattlelite radio, disk changer, etc.). I like Kenwood, alpine, Eclipse.

I'm getting ready to re-do the system in our Gun too so I'm right there with you.

Tank, ever hear of or run Cadence stuff? I'm running an almost complete Cadence set up in my Jeep and am very impressed. Their prices can't be beat, and they definitely sound a lot better than a lot of other companies that I've heard.

if you're running in fresh water you can put car stuff in, but salt air corrodes the internals quickly. I just did kenwood maring speakers and sirrus in my Tiger and it sounds great, it may not have to be specifically marine, but marine rated.
