Default BBC headers - what's the best for the HP/money

Just sold my heavy Gill manifolds with elbows - looking for some advise on Stainless header - Don't have the pockets for STELLING and I hear the CMI elbows only work with Merc factory heads (bolt pattern) - I swa a nice set of Hardin Marine two piece - and I also notice the Lightening header are being use by Keith Eickert. This is a big investment and I want to go the right way - Anything used out there? Oh, running 572's with ASM EFI mild to rad roller cam - My builders says around 650 HP

what kind of heads are you running?

as far as i know, CMI will work on any BBC head...and are probably your best choice.

i had CMI e-tops on my tall deck 540s with steel heads that were in my Cafe. looked great, sounded great, performed great(big improvement over the GILs)

hard to beat the gen III's for price and performance, you can buy a pair for the same price as one set of nice headers.
