Thanks Ken.

Thats what I thought.

I hate to say it, but I think the small block would suit my needs better.

I don't need to go 80mph, and I think the handling would be a bit better with a small block.

You say you get 60mph with 330 hp?

Dog,

320 hp. Its the original motor. I beleive it to be a corvette motor. It has the snowflake symbol on the highrise intake as well as the finned corvette valvecovers.

Airdog, I'm sure someone could make you a nice 400-450hp SB.
Its only $$. :(

I think I kind of high jacked the thread here. Sorry about that.

Storm: What do you think the most HP I could safely run through the exhaust? I want the switchable kind of through hull so when the wife and kids are on board.

Cig19: I have heard that the small block is a better weight to center of gravity for the Cig20 and gives a better ride. Have you heard this at all?

AD :drink:

How often are the 20' gatherings? Sounds like a lot of fun.

Dog, its funny you mentioned center weight. I removed 200 or so lbs from the rear and had some problems with "big ear props". Have you ever experienced bow steer? Its when the ass end breaks loose and nose turns down to one side.

I'm wondering if by lightening the ass weight might have caused this..................don't know.

Ken

also didn't mean to steal this post :(
