Does anybody know the old owner of this Cafe?

Re: Does anybody know the old owner of this Cafe?
The history that I know on the boat is that the original owner is a member on here, "Plastered". It was well kept and meticulously maitained by the second owner until his marriage went south. It used to have Imco "shorties" on it, I guess he took them and sold them before it got repoed. He had some engine trouble in the summer of '04, something about a worn out distributor and he replaced it hisself and didn't make an adjustment for the tall deck and wound up burning up one engine do to the lack of oil pressure. The last I heard was he had someone(?) go through the engine real quick so he could try and sell it before his ex came after him. Looks like that didn't work if ya'll bought the boat at auction. It's a shame when someone has such a nice piece, as this boat was/is, and won't/can't properly maintain it. I hope that you got it for a bargin. At one time it was one of the nicest 35 CAFE'S that I have ever seen. I do some checking to see if I can find out who's fingers were in the engines last. Oh yeah, check the wheel cylinders on the brakes on the trailer, I tried to get the previous to replace them a couple of years ago and don't know if he ever did.

knowing Joe, he'll probably put a couple of fresh 525's in it and make it real nice. I was watching that boat for a while but never had that kind of cash. I saw it listed for 130K. Never followed up on any research. Beautiful lookin boat!
GOOD LUCK Joe!
