The lighter weight Kevlar Guns especially with average power tend to porpoise excessively without a ton of tab and negative trim.
So unless she is trimmed up @ all but WOT it can be like riding with the brakes on at most any speed unless its real real snotty water.
We have a 1997 Kevlar Cover Girl Gun and 80k+ later she now rides and handles incredibly with positive trim and without tab.
But that was only after adding big power, deeper than stock drives and doing a good bit of hull work on her bottom.
I would defiantly sea trial the Gun first and see how she rides, she may be set up right already! Good Luck
