I believe Aqualon is the heavier, shiny material.....sort of in between sunbrella and the chute material. I had a full cover made for my F2 out of Aqualon. It provided great moisture protection without the weight of the sunbrella.

Regarding the chute material, it is recommended not to be used for towing. It is simply just a cover to keep dust out of the cockpit.

I wouldn't call it Aqualon. Aqualon is a coated polyester that doesn't breathe. It is primarily used for full mooring covers and needs to be vented to breathe. Sunbrella on the other hand is uncoated so it breathes, and is used mainly for cockpit covers. Chute material is nylon material and isn't normally as heavy as the white Cig cockpit material. But the white Cig material might be a heavier version, I don't know that for sure.
