Default Cockpit cover

What is the light weight material Cig uses. Dacron or something? My 2000 TG came w/ a brand new one. Are they waterproof? How do you like it?

No this is a white material and really light. Sometimes called parachute material.

Scotchgard it... It helps quite a bit.

Those covers are good for dust. You will need a sunbrella material cover for real protection.

Not sure exactly what it is called either. I just don't think it is parachute material tho, it is alot thinnner. Unless there are different varieties that I'm not aware of. I have sample materials from a number of different vendors and no-one has any material like that available. Anyway most folks want a something a little more durable which is why Sunbrella is the material of choice.

I agree, but this is what it came with and was wondering if there was a way to waterproof it.

Actually I like the cover on my powerquest, had a shine to it and was waterproof, but needed vents to breathe. I cant think of the name of it.??? Thanks.
