undo screw from under hatch remove then redo!!!
since we r on the subject i have for sale a vinyl hatch cover for when ur docked or rafted... better than laying down towels... has cig logo

dreamer, is correct. The normal engine hatch on a TG is a piece of wood covered with foam then the material. It is fastened on to the fiberglass shell with some lag bolts from the bottom, once the lag bolts are removed the wood will come right off. Depending on age and treatment it isn't too uncommon to have some wood damage so be prepared for that. Good luck.
