Not yet...
There seems to be a LOT of confusion about this particular "Lap Dancer 24"....here is part of what it confuses some people.
NPBA Hall of Fame nominee Aldo Aleszczuck's D Class Race boat..."Lap Dancer"
I have heard the story of how the "CIG 24 Lap Dancer" came to be from someone who supposedly had hands on with it's "creation"...but waiting to hear from the man himself.
Either way, I am just tickled poopless to have a solid CIG 24...the rest of the History, no matter what it is, is just icing in the cake.

Just had an interesting phone convo with Mr. Aleszczuck....very interesting.
Will post back in a few days when I get the history in writing and spend more time on the phone with him this weekend away from work.
Funny, he told me how he came across it and what he paid for it...want to get exact details, but it is very funny!
OH, I was wrong about the Winning History of the 24...very wrong :-)
FYI, there were 3 "Lap Dancers"...the CIG 35 shown above (the first Lap Dancer) then came the CIG 24 Lap Dancer, and later a Superboat 21 Lap Dancer.
All the same color scheme.

There was only 2 cigarettes with that paint scheme one that raced A class and one that raced D class the 24 superboat was just a bay bombing boat named lil lap as a joke. The 24 cigarette was and still is a nice boat (still looks good for over 20 year old paint).boat was put together late 80's early 90's and raced a handful of races then sat for like 10 years used a couple of times then sat for like 5 more years there's not a lot of hours on the boat probaly in the water 20 times since 1990.You got a good deal on the boat I just bought the red banana boat with the yamaha (re-rigging with twin merc 250's in between typing)from Paul he is a real nice guy to deal with.

get some rapid remover, smells like oranges, 100% natural wont hurt paint or gel, just rub it on and let it sit for a couple minutes and wipe or scrap off with a white plastic squeegeee.

Thanks for the corection on Lil Lap, that is how I recall it also.
Yeah, if the paint is over 20 years old ...it looks fantastic for that age..WOW.
Nice to hear further confirmation about the low hours, I was told the same.
Congrats on the red Banana! It is a sharp looking boat..honestly I only glanced at...but Paul went on and on about how strong it was and how solid the condition was...Had it had some Mercs on it then..and the CIG wasn't luring me in....you may have missed out on it, I do like red!!...LOL
Post some pics in the Banana section of it when you can. Would like to see more of it...BTW..Wanna sell the seats..IIRC it had Drop Bolsters in white w/red???? I am sure you probably don't but remember me in case you ever do!
All the best,
Dave
