Trim & drive Location for Top Gun
#1
I just took my new 2000 Top Gun out after owning a 31 seahawk with arnesons and no bow lift. The new cig has a lot of bow lift. How should the tabs / drives be when getting on a plane and where should they be move to at cruzing and top speed?

I start with mine at 1for tabs and 0 for drives it depends on how big the waves and speed as far as when crusing but tabs usally around 4 or 5 at 60-70 and the drives at 2 maybe 3 mine is a twin step so it might be different.
Congrats on the new boat. but where are the pics?

This is what i'm trying to figure out! I had the drives all the way down and a little tab about 6-7. Seemed to be to much bow lift.

Yea but it was on a lake and it was not very big. I ran it in the ocean last weekend by Myself with a lot of chop. The boat I'm use to has no bow lift at all. I just need a little direction thats all.

Thank you. I have marked the indicators. The only thing I'm not understanding is when you refer to "even" is that even with the angle of the hull (because the tab is mounted 1" above the bottom of the hull) or pushed down so the trailing edge is even with the bottom of the hull.
