he never built them with outboards..
they started out with twin 6 cylinder Chevy's with Mercruiser I outdrives, in the end you could get them with Chevy V-8 small blocks with TRS outdrives.

So he mucked around with the floorplan, it's still a great hull. I think the CG is way off now because of the outboards, but you never know until you drive it.
