let us know how it works out i put the 2 inch spacers in my shorties to help get it back on plane they say it has to do with the cav plate not on the lower

I put a pair of 1 inch shorter drives on a 2001 35 ft cig and they work great on the top end but are crap out of the hole. I am going to put spacers in them for the customer to get back to stock height. At least if you dont like them you can put spacers on them and the lower unit back to stock. The lowers will give more mph because they are more hydrodynamic. Good luck with yuor project I hope this helped a little.
