Hello all, I am looking at purchasing a 38' or 39'TG. A couple of the boats are advertising 90mph with stock 525's. Is that possible? What should a 38' with 575SC motors do?
Is one more reliable than the other? Thank you in advance for the help!

With those props it was hard to get up on plane in rough water and full of fuel.
It runs a consistan 89.9 with my merc 5 blades or 6 blade herings.
Remember my boat has stand off boxes and NO ITS.

89 on GPS (w/ Phil driving -- no fuel, perfect conditions). Otherwise, the boat runs a solid 86/87 all day long and cruises at 75 MPH at 4250 RPM's ----
"special" Philly props that started out as 34's before Merc. began cutting on them.
