For you none water skiing believers.........I hear the Gladiator is a great ski boat.........

I just got off the phone with somebody that put a 36' Gladiator together in 2002 for a guy named Bill McCangless for that purpose, a ski boat with a ski tow. It was a Lip Ship Ed. with 525's. He pulled a young lady by the name of Kim Lumley to a womens over all first place in the 54th annaul Catalina Ski race.
For those that don't know, the Catalina Ski race is a 60 mile round trip offshore ski race.
So I would say if you want to ski behind a 36' Gladiator more power to ya and make sure to post pictures....... :D
Oh if you need somebody to build you a really nice ski boat, I would call Phil @ Lip Ship, I hear he builds a hell of a ski boat. :drink:

What kind of camping?

I was going to say the same thing. Everyone's wife/girlfeiend has attempted to get out of the rain and went below into the cabin while underway. After that first time, you couldn't pay my wife to go under there. If you get into any kind of seas (which if you're trying to get out of the weather you are usually in some decents swells) you go from zero gravity one second to 3 G's the next. You will definitely have some battle scars when you emerge. :D
