I had a 2000 Mystique w/500efis. An OSO member now owns it, but I can not remember his name. ANyway, it will run 80MPH and I thought it was a great boat. A little bit of porpoising if not trimmed correctly . Rides great, especially at 55+ mph.

I bought the boat this summer. It rides great, sounds great, and looks great. It is a heavier boat as 30's go, good in the rough not so good when it comes to top end (I have had 75 on gps). Boat uses a lot of trim due to big horse in a smaller boat. When you take it for a sea trial you will see what I am talking about. The only time I can trim the boat all the way up is when the boat is hammered down, otherwise I am adjusting trim more than my other boats in normal boating situation. My boat looks almost identical to the one you are buying. The closest boat to comparison that I can make to this one that I have owned is a 2001 35 fountain with 500s. Similiar boats in size but very different performing boats. I would choose the cigarette because of the image and the look but unfortunately the 35 was a better motor/boat combination. Not sure what you are looking for, but it is a cigarette.

Just my opinion, but I would keep my eyes open for an older Bullet, Cafe or TopGun. The Mystiques aren't old enough to have depriciated enough where you won't lose your azz when you go to move up from it! Plus, I think that they only made 16 of them, with 4 of them having steps.

BE PATIENT!!!! There are alot of good deals out there and there will be ALOT more in the coming months!!! For instance, look at that black 35' Playboy that has been for sale forever in the classifieds. Seems like a great boat for a good price, but I can't figure out for the life of me why it hasn't sold.........unless the owner is an jerk or something.

I agree but the only problem is my budget, not trying to be cheap but has to be 96 or newer for prime financing also going to be a trailer queen since i dont live on water so actually 30-32 is perfect size and price range is under $75k...just dont wanna over-step my bounds

That's a tough order... Cigarette, 30-32 feet, 1996 or newer, and under $75K!

If you find one, I would be very wary! Just my two-cents...
