Default 38' Cig, Why hasn't it sold ??

38' Flat Deck Cig

I realize it's older, but it's one of the cleanest ones on here, not to mention some nice Hardware.

So what's the boat worth in todays market?

Right now you can buy a lot of Cigarettes in that price range that are 10 years newer.

Then there's the scoops. I understand the offset, but personally couldn't live with it.

Again, it is a unique, well equipped boat, but.......
I agree.

I like it but I know my bank wouldn't lend on it... they cut people off on a boat that is older than 15 years...

Good luck its nice...

So what's it worth then? $$$$$$$$$$

I realize there's newer boats, but obviously for it's age someone was very passionate about it and the way they took care of it and maintained it.

Lot to be said for that, it's hard to find boats that have been taken care.

This is just my opinion, but I don't like it. The sundeck is totally non-functional for laying out. The black dash looks dated. And, I really don't like the exhaust.

Sorry...

I had a reatoration myself on an older cig. The age in my opinion is not a problem. Some 7 year old boats are junk from neglect. It's all about the condition it is in now. Just hold out for the right buyer. The question on financing is not a big deal. Most people that buy a boat like yours have good relationships with their bank or will pay cash. The cheapest thing about your boat is buying it. If you can't affoard to buy it then you sure as hell can't affoard to have fun with it. I suggest trading it in. That's what I'm doing with mine. Saves the headache and frustration of potential buyers. My boat...

It's not my boat

I'm just curious why it hasn't sold, cause it looks perfect.
And That's also why I ask What the OSO people feel it's truly worth?

Thanks

Very nice boat, the total power and drive replacement cost alone is well over 100k.
You really need to find the right cash buyer or trade her to a large dealer that can put your big power and or drives into another rig that they can blow right out.
Just like my 97 that I am giving away compared to other comparable rigs with over 200k invested all my perspective buyers are trying to finance as well!
I think in this market with all the new stuff currently on the auction block, it 's going to take extra patients to find that solid buyer.
Good Luck!
