Winter time is the best time to buy!!! You'll find the right one...

FYI - re: your comment to 525's vs. 575's.... salt is much less of an issue w/ the 525's... the headers are about the only part you have to worry about going bad ---- So, much less of a worry vs. the externally cooled 575's.

You never REALLY know when someone says, "fresh water" boat w/out close inspection. If you're buying a boat of that age, consider pressure testing the headers.... there were "issues" from CMI back then. Otherwise, count on spending between 10-12k for new ones.

Contact ASG and make him a fair offer. he wants to get rid of it. I just saw it last week and it's ready to roll.

I thought I saw a thread about that boat having some previous damage?? Any clue how extensive? Info was vague so it may have been a different boat??

Yes it has a little damage, but boat never took on any water. Damage was above the water line and below the rub rail. The boat was fixed at the Cigarette factory. I was not in the boat.

That is why I have it listed so much less than all the others.

It has had all the Motors, Gimbals, Boxes and Drives checked and refreashed...

In the couple years that I have been on this board, EVERYONE has noted how good Alex takes care of his boats. As he says it was fixed properly and is still a beautiful piece. I wouldnt hesitate to own it.
