Cigarette Firefox 24

Have only seen pics but Ed's has to be one of the most orig. Firefox's I have seen around - just a knockout beautiful boat. There are 2 all white ones out there .. been waiting for the one on w. coast to come back up for sale. Here are some pics of one that was on e-bay this spring and think it went for low 30's. Anyone here buy it?

there is one here on Long Island that is white also... Biggus has seen it too... we've both been lusting after it for some time now... and i saw it on the water this summer for the first time, so the engine swap the marina had been telling us about was apparently done.

Steve Miklos had one rigged for APBA Factory 1. Cigarette brought out the mold and built one in late 1999. With a HP500 I think all they could get out of it was around 77-78mph. The boat was later re-rigged with a Vortec and raced in P5. Then it was sold to Abid Mastry and I think he still has it. Miklos can tell you a lot about this hull performance and what it likes and does not like.

I think if Cigarette had a left hand drive available to install they placed the helm on the port side. A right hand drive they placed the helm on the starboard side so the boat won't torque over with one person in it. Look at the 20 footers......port and starboard helms.

I had an IMP/28 clone - Any info out-there on how they got the molds from Cigarette? I read in "Speed Kills" that Arronow sold the molds on late 80's to a guy in Indian and some how they fell into the hands of IMP - I traded mine in for my CAFE 35
