Cigarette has used sexually provacative advertising for a long time. This has not diminished thier popularity in the market that I can tell, certainly not on this forum. I think the ad is well done if judged by the standards Cigarette has set for itself although they have set a new benchmark with this ad. I would enjoy seeing them do some adveretising in a European publication that allows full nudity. This would set off some interesting debate from the sounds of this site. Cigarette will reap what it sows. Searay and Cigarette appeal to different segaments of the boating market. If they cross the fine line they walk in thier ads, they will end up with the clientel they attract, like it or not. Bottom line is that SEX SELLS and it is hard to argue that. I do luv my Top Gun! I showed the ad to my girlfriend a couple of nights ago. She thinks we need a Cig now. I guess the ad worked. I always love the direction of cigarette marketing
