That boat was owned by Art & Mike Girard (of the old Airborne race team) I think Phil from Lip Ship sold it to Art about 10 years ago.
That boat could go through a tidal wave! and man, does those 588's sound nasty!!! Kurt |

Re: 42' revolution info?
I think in its best day, it ran around 90. Never heard it was a handful to drive, just a busy boat with three of everything. You have to be an engineer to run that thing! :D

Re: 42' revolution info?
We have been restoring a 1990 with triples since fall of 04. it is almost done. Going to have triple 850-900hp s/c 555 engines, and are now tryin to get rid of it actually. Feel free to ask if you have any specific questions about it, as I have gotten very familiar with the model :D

Re: 42' revolution info?
Wasn't Hard Candy in one of the boating mags in its early years. I think I remember seeing it in Powerboat Magazine once upon a time.

Re: 42' revolution info?
hard candy was the name of the revo with twin 6s and i think merc 800s in the 90-91ish catalogs.

Hard Candy was just another moniker for the 42' Revolution. |
