Tanner I can totally agree with your outlook in buying a boat this winter. Joe and OFDrill somehow have gotten lucky enough to buy boats at a fair price and then they went up in value while they owned them and sold (Joe's case) within hours for full price. These two must have bought the secret profit making boats that no one else knows about and they don't want you to buy one. I wonder how much profit Joe will make on his new blue TG, at 10% per year it ought to be worth at least a million by 2010!

Seriously I would say most people would just be happy in losing the least amount of money on a boat as possible while getting the most enjoyment possible. This all starts with the sale price you buy the boat at but just remember when you get ready to sell it there will be another Tanner around the corner looking to buy your boat at the right price.

But if I was in his shoes with a kevlar #6 TG I would not consider a Gladiator a trade up.

It's tempting but if my F'in land finally sells still will look at and most likely buy the Pink Flamingo. Rather put the dif. money wise into more power, etc, etc

It is always wiser go with the better more effiecent hull design than bigger HP when talking about speed.

secondly i never insulted you, only made a comment on a "transaction" if you want this to get personal I have no problem with that either. the amin point is people /business have to make profit or they go out of business. If you or the comapny you work for doesnt make profit how do you pay your bills? My bet is you wont find a topgun....
I have no time to get personal, just trying to buy a Top Gun from someone who needs to get out of it. I guess my way of buying things may be a little different than yours. I am pretty sure most people who have boats thataretrying to sell them are not in it to make a profit, but t get out for as little loss as possible... but so be it just my 2 cents... at least we are all boating!!!
