well your educated guess should get you in detention...500's in a 00 straight hull will have you around 70 in flat water, get a little chop your at 73 or so. 580's will have you at 75 in flat 76-77 in some chop. Niels boat with 700's and the cool weather will hit 80...Gl's old Tiger straight hull with his blower motors was at 82..lets see if the people above 18 that really own a Tiger can say any more...

Not many things go 80 in real 6 footers... for long anyway! Specially when you pay the bills.

had the 500's now the 580's...so the performance numbers are first hand. all the straight hull tigers aren't the fastest until you get some chop under them, but as the chop increases you can hold your speed much longer than a shorter boat.
