Pretty much. The weight, and the amount of room needed for the drives and transmissions throws the CG off too much for it to work well. This is why I wish they'd build a 42-X style sitdown (it would be 40ish after the cutdown) that can handle big power like the Maximus.

How can you tell what number Gladiator I have ? Is there a way to identify it by the hull ID # ??

Someone said mine is hull # 2

Someone said mine is hull # 2
Mine is hull #40 and built in 2004. The serial # is B02B404

Seriously I'd love to see that and even own one if they ever tried it. I like the really aggressive/custom Cigarette's like the Gladiator and Maximus.
