Default 33' Cafe' Center Console

Anyone have history or knowledge on these boats? I know they built quite a few 31 Center Consoles but how about the 33's. I think they were built by Ocean Hawk or somebody else besides Cig. Then Cig put there name on them. Thanks, Dave

Built by Ocean Hawk and rigged at Cig. I looked into this boat real hard before I bought the 36 Concept. The Cig at the time was real nice, well built and rigged but about $100k more. It was also about 3mph slower than a 36 Concept. The Cig 33 Cafe is actually heavier and bigger of a boat all around too. In hindsight I should have sucked it up and bought the Cigarette instead of the Concept. Oh well live and learn.

BTW, The Cig 33 Cafe also has scuppers/self draining! Major Major Major plus plus plus were as the Concept does not and that was a huge problem.

I would never ever buy a CC that is not self draining ever again.

Sure, but with out turning this into a public flam match I will say that the Cigarette is much better built and rigged. Plus the Cig is a deep freeboard thus probably less wet of a boat. I had many problems with my 36 Concept. I'll send you a PM.

We had a 99' Cig 33 Cafe w/Merc 250EFI's. It was a great boat in the rough water and rode real nice. The cockpit in ours was NOT self bailing. I don't know if they changed it on later models, but like I said our 99' did NOT have it.

Yes, I will NEVER EVER have another center console with out it being self bailing.

I thought it was. It's the only one I've ever seen on the lake. Great boat!
