It's an 02 37 Quadstep, 1000's w/6's. The boat runs 110 tabs down with plenty of power left, but over that becomes more than a handfull, thats why I was wondering if the TG's had the same manners at those speeds.

Id doubt it from what I've heard. For a vee you've got it with your OL.

42 and larger OL,s are better at high speed. 37 OL,s are questionable ( according to who you talk to)

Re: 38 TS with 600s?
Maybe it's not possible in a v-hull, but i'd like to have stability at 120mph. My Cat is so stable at 120+ you could sip a martini.

Re: 38 TS with 600s?
Tazz,
When we ran the silver/red Factory Cig. 700 boat it chined a bit at appx. 105, backed off the throttles for a sec. and right back on them and it settled right in at 107 MPH. We also ran it at 100 MPH + on the LOTO run. There are comments here on OSO about the cat guys being so surprised as we ran with, and passed many, of them. OU Want Some ran side-by-side w/ us the whole way to Big ****s. He can attest ---- Joe P.S. Are you thinking about selling the OL and stepping up? hehehehehehe..... |

Re: 38 TS with 600s?
The OL is rock solid up to 110, it's OVER that where it becomes an issue. The OL will be run for one more summer then...who knows, i'm not brand loyal to any one boat, but from what I hear the Cig may be no better at those speeds .
