Default Horsepower Question

Now this might sound stupid but I have to ask! For the a Top Gun years 1989-1992 the 525sc engines (which were Hawk I believe) what was the total horsepower?

Was it orginally a 425 but with the supercharger it had a total of 525hp or is it originally 525hp then add whatever the supercharger gives ya?

Thanks

According to Bud who worked at Hawk, it was a super reliable motor that ran awesome. After 250 hours, it was adviseable to check for cam wear and some other issues. Hawk,s best motor is what he said.
