never saw a nothced cafe i ran a 96 bulldogs with 420b&ms coolers and imco bravos runs in the 90+

Are you sure about that? I've never seen or heard of one, but, knowing you have the inside track to CB, so if you say so, it must be so

That's my point. If the longer boat has the same beam then the ratio is better on the longer boat for both speed and wave piercing. If you narrowed out the cafe and left the weight the same, the Cafe would likely be faster-all other things equal. Wider= slower.
