I know they built both boats that year but I really want to know how many Cafe's were built. I am trying to figure what # hull my Cafe is. By my understanding it would have been the 24th hull that year but I have a hard time believing that they built 24 hulls the first year. Anyone have any info?

Mine is #18 and was built in April '86 from what I was told: CRT35C18D686

Panic's number is:
35C = 35 Cafe Racer
18 (or 24 in your case) is the Number of Cafe's
D = 4 Month or April
6 = Year it was built 1986
Last 2 digits (86) means the year it was sold as (a 1986 model)

This was exlained to me on a thread that I had trying to get info for a 31 Bullet.

Was I hallucinating, or did Offshore say he was in VB, VA down in the southern part near Pungo?

We showed the first Cafe' at the 1985 Ft. Lauderdale boat show.

Thanks, Brownie. I din't realize they might have made that many or showed it in 85. I guess with the Top Gun not out yet it was even more popular.
