1999 35 top gun

Not sure but I surmise that they were built late in 1999 as a limited edition and an update to the Cafe Racer with the TG deck and Cig went to a twin step in 2000 (2001 model year?) and renamed them Playboy's for the limited run and then the mistress.

Go to the classified section and look at a Cafe Racer deck. They are different than the Top Gun deck. The cafe deck juts out at an angle at the fairing and has a groove down the middle (like a walk way) with no "life line" bar. The T/G deck is flater, straight across the fairing with the "life line" bar down the middle.
I've never personally been in (or even seen in person) a 35 Top Gun. But it's the Cafe hull which is an awesome boat! no notched transom, solid ride. If I was looking at buying again I would not exclude this boat.

JB, leave VB's boat alone!!!
I'm still rattling my wife's cage about Bongo's ride. One of my all time favorites but she isn't into the classic paint and the rear bolster. That's alright - I'm gonna keep the pressure on. Already got a commitment that the boat purchase will be this year. Now just a matter of agreeing on a rig!

They are just like a mini TG. I was on the other one with the 90mph paint job. They're a nice boat if your looking for a 35. We were actually looking to buy one by our dealer took one in on trade. We just decided to keep our current boat instead. There not the fastest out there but they sure will throw down some waves. Like said, there were only ten built, and has the cafe bottom with a shortened TG deck. Remember the TG is only 2ft 6in bigger.
