Our 1997 Kevlar cover girl Lipship Gun with her stock Merc 600sc power ran 82 GPS 26p 1.36 ratio 5400rpms fully loaded.

With new 850+hp @ 5800 rpms 1.35 ratio 30p just over 94gps.

The truth is 95% of the time for us anyway we enjoyed running her betwwen 50 & 65mph.

What ever Gun you buy your going to love the ride @ any speed.

You may want to check with dreamer to see if this is the same TG that his buddy sold a couple of years ago - Same year, power, paint, and approx hours. I think it sold for $100k when dreamer's friend sold it. Don't know if it is the same boat or not.

I had a pair of bumped HP500's pushing about 510HP on Bravo 1's. Best I saw was 72MPH on GPS. However I was breaking in a rebuild & fighting an oil issue most of the season and didn't really look for a WOT speed. These motors are now history and they will breath new life with all new components from the block up...540's NA 750HP (give or take) I'll post Dyno info when we get to that stage. I'm switching to a Max Machine upper and a xr lower still at 1.50 gears. We're looking to run in the mid 80's without a lot of effort. If we can hit 90...don't anyone tell my wife. I'll start a long thread once we begin putting everything back together... Can't wait! Should be on the water come the end of April.

sounds awesome. good luck. been looking at a lot of non step guns and can not find the right package yet. Would love to buy a 97-99 but drives and motors keep scaring me with the ones i have found.
